This was the first draft of the logo, I included the human figures to make it more recognisable, and I chose a green and black colour scheme because green is one of the two colours associated with gaming and black makes a good background colour for a logo like this since black goes well with everything in my opinion.
This is the current final draft of the logo. I have tried to revamp it to make it look more stylish, to achieve this I downloaded a digital font that looks like pixels, I chose this because pixelated imagery is associated with games, even by non-gamers. Pixelated designs look stiff due to their blocky structure but I decided to use the pixelated font to make CGC (the foundation of this sites community) look more sturdy and stable. The figures on top were given a bubbly base to them because it looks more visually appealing since bubbles are much more soothing than jagged explosive lines or a stiff looking pixel pattern.
The one in the middle was given a controller icon on its chest in order to give it a direct association with gaming.
